The Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy and the Mt. Lebanon Public Library presented
4 programs in a Nature Series during April, 2003.
 | David Jett, Director of the
Frick Woods Nature Reserve, discussed medicinal plants. |
 | Dr. Mary Joy Haywood, author of
Wildflowers of Pennsylvania , showed slides of indigenous Pennsylvania
wildflowers. |
 | Dr. Mark Evans, University of Pittsburgh
Professor, discussed global warming and the resulting migration of
climates, plants, and animals. |
 | Jeff Wagner, naturalist at the Western
Pennsylvania Conservancy, discussed the plants of Western Pennsylvania.

The Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy purchased a copy of Wildflowers of
Pennsylvania for Mt. Lebanon Public Library as a thank you for co-sponsoring
this series of programs.
