Invasive Plant Removal - Bird Park

Join Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy volunteers, including a team from Temple Emanuel, as we remove invasive plants in an area of Bird Park. This is in a location where we will plant new trees, shrubs and groundcovers in spring. Volunteers will be removing English ivy and Vinca, honeysuckle, bittersweet vines and privet from the site. Bring water, gloves, loppers, clippers and/or saws if you have them. We also will have extras on hand. Wear long pants and sleeves (for tick and poison ivy protection). All activities are weather permitting. Meet at the Bird Park Drive (fire circle) entrance to the park.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required.
