In celebration of Migratory Bird Day, join Mt Lebanon Nature Conservancy Board Member and Ornithologist  Dr. Jim Saracco as we hike through Bird Park looking for birds, especially species migrating through. Learn how you can contribute data to a citizen science project (e-Bird) through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather and bring a pair of binoculars. If you are interested, you may download Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s free app (Merlin) onto your mobile device and practice using it during the hike. 

We will be meeting at the Beadling Parking Lot to begin our walk. This event is suitable for adults and high school students.
