Twin Hills riparian area planting

  • Chatham Park Drive, Twin Hills Park, ( 40°23'52.2"N 80°03'24.8"W ) Pittsburgh, PA United States (map)

In 2026, we are improving a riparian zone along the stream in Twin Hills.

Today, we will be planting native trees, shrubs and perennials in the 0.3-acre area where we removed invasives in March. We also will be enclosing each new plant in deer-protection fencing.

Meet at the Chatham Park Drive entrance ( 40°23'52.2"N 80°03'24.8"W ). Bring a shovel and gloves if you have them, or borrow some from us. Dress for the weather.

Sign up here! We will contact you if weather affects our plans.
