Twin Hills wineberry removal

  • Dead-end of the drive Chatham Park Drive Pittsburgh, PA United States (map)

Let’s tackle the nasty wineberry thickets plaguing Twin Hills!

Wineberry is an invasive fruiting vine, whose arching canes root anywhere they touch down. Winter is a good time to remove them because they’re easy to see at this time of year.

Meet at the Chatham Park Drive entrance to Twin Hills. Park along the wooded side of the drive, not the apartment side. Bring clippers or loppers if you have them, and wear tough gloves (these are sticker bushes!) or borrow some from us. Dress for the weather.

Signups coming soon! We will contact you if weather affects our plans.
