Native Planting Confidence: How to pick the right plant for the right place

  • Mt. Lebanon Public Library 16 Castle Shannon Boulevard Pittsburgh, PA, 15228 United States (map)

Native plants attract and sustain wildlife- hosting butterflies, birds and bees while being easy to maintain. Join landscape architect Natalie Drozda, a Conservancy board member, for a presentation about how to incorporate native species in your garden plan and why it’s important.

This program will walk you through the process of how to research and select the appropriate plant material.

This program features plants available this year via the Conservancy’s sale, but the principles taught will give you confidence in choosing native plants you grow from seed or purchase elsewhere. Learn how to make an impact in our community with the contents of your garden!
