This low-growing plant produces bright green, fuzzy foliage and bluish-lavender flowers through summer and into fall. It is not related to the cultivated annual petunia but looks a little like it. Grows to 2' tall and 12" wide, sprawling gracefully. Drought tolerant, hardy, easy to grow.

Planting Instructions:

Full sun to part shade, well drained soils. Performs well in borders, rock gardens, native plant gardens, wild gardens or prairies. Note that this can seed and spread vigorously. Deer resistant. Attracts bees and hummingbirds. It is a larval host plant for the buckeye butterfly.
